"The Bearded Lady who won the Eurovision Song Contest this year - Conchita Wurst, also known as Tom, is changing the face of Europe with her message of (LOVE, RESPECT & TOLERENCE). Representing Austria at Eurovision this year with her song “Rise Like A Phoenix” she faced many obstacles on the way to victory. Russia, Turkey and the Ukraine all called for Conchita to be banned from the Song Contest. However the rest of Europe knew better, voting on 10 May 2014 for the now famous drag-queen.

Conchita aims to teach the world to tolerate not just gay people, but all kinds of people. She says that issues regarding your sexuality or even the colour of your skin are unnecessary in the 21st Century.

As a teenage boy in the small town of Bad Mitterndorf (Austria), Tom was always bullied – but his parents have supported him all the way, by never doubting or discouraging their child. Now in a new Documentary by South African Curtis Ryan Woodside, you can discover much more about Conchita and her journey. From her in-depth views on human rights to her modelling debut for Jean-Paul Gaultier’s Paris fashion week runway show. Follow Conchita over the past few months after winning Eurovision, travelling around Europe performing to thousands of fans through this documentary. It also touches on her future plans, including her highly anticipated debut album, and reveals some of the ways she plans to continue to be unstoppable. “The Unstoppable Conchita Wurst” was a collaborative work between Curtis, Conchita and her team. Curtis has worked on similar films along-side some incredible people, including Celine Dion, Shania Twain and Khloe Kardashian.

“I am overjoyed to have been given the opportunity to have created this Film with Conchita, and the Unstoppable Team (Rene, Benjamin & Andre) they are such incredible people. Whether you like Conchita or not, have a look, as we based this film on allowing people to learn more about Conchita’s message of Love, Respect & Tolerance.” - Curtis Ryan Woodside

Conchita is one of those rare performers who has it all, charisma, stage presence, intelligence, and the best kept beard you will ever see, but when you watch Conchita, you can see past the beard and the dress, and see the person, the struggle and the acceptance behind it all. Conchita Wurst is truly the world’s most famous drag-queen.

Curtis & Conchita are in the early stages of planning to shoot a documentary together in May 2015. Apart from long hair and beards, Curtis and Conchita share another similarity – a love for Celine Dion. They hope to work in collaboration with Celine once she returns from her hiatus.
