Latest Update to Biography 02/NOV/2015

 

I am Curtis Ryan Woodside

I was born in Warmbaths "BELA BELA" (South Africa) 15 March 1995

 

I attended Warmbaths Academy a private school. I was only 10 years old when we did our 1st film. I am, of course, a huge Harry Potter fan, and It was at Mabalingwe a Safari Lodge my dad ran, that I watched my 1st Potter Film.  After Mabalingwe we moved to another Lodge which was quite far from my school. I had to stay with a family friend during the week and go home each weekend for a few months. 

I heard on the Radio that Celine was coming to SA in 2008.  Mum booked tickets to the 1st show of Celine’s world tour at Loftus Pretoria. We made a huge banner for Celine, and after Celine’s photographer saw the banner, he told us to go to the front row so Celine can see the banner up-close. We went to our 2nd Celine show at Monte-Casino on 1 March 2008, to cut a long story short, I met Celine after her sound-check on
29 February, & again twice on 1st March. & we have become very close to the Dion/Angelil Family ever since.

 

Back at school there were only 5 kids in my class started to have trouble with the Afrikaans teacher who was very racist to the English Speaking Children, Especially me. Mum decided to move me into the only other school in town.
 

The kids at the new school bullied me and I was beaten up on a daily basis, because I was always different to the other kids. After all of this had happened, Mum decided to enrol me in Home-Schooling. Where I did my last 2 and a half years of high school studies. 

 

In 2010 I started work on my Script Called “The Witches Are With Us” It was very hard work as I self-produced the film for YouTube, and It was my 1st Full Length film. A few of my friends acted in the film, and I feel it has helped each of us with self-confidence. The Actual inspiration for the film was J.K Rowling. 

I have been very lucky to have been able to go to Las Vegas twice by this time, where I made Documentaries with Celine Dion. I had the Honour of Presenting Celine with My Film in August 2012. 

It is my Ultimate dream to meet The woman who has inspired my entire film and writing fascination, JK ROWLING. I started work on Sorceress Hollow and The Witches Star Straight after the witches are with us premiered.  It was an amazing experience to work with My Phenomenal Friends / Crew. I am so thankful to them for supporting me through-out these past years.

In 2012, a friend of mine Niki Torch wrote "Fear Of Hue" and we collaborated on making her story into a short film, which Daniel Radcliffe went on to Narrate. 
 

I have been extremely fortunate to have been back to Vegas again where I shot a documentary with Veronic DiCaire, Shania Twain and Celine in 2014 

 

"We Are Unstoppable" were the words by Conchita Wurst at Eurovision in 2014 that were to change my life forever. Later in 2014 Conchita and the team Collaborated with me to create an English Documentary telling people about Conchita's life and message. I was greatly humbled by this - as they were the 1st group of people to fully have faith and give me my break, and for that I will be forever grateful. 

 

In May 2015 I has the incredible opportunity to go to Vienna, Austria to shoot 3 Documentaries. The 1st was with the HIV and AIDS Charity LIFEBALL, the second was with Boylesque Performer Jacques Patriaque, and the main was an All access Documentary about the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest!

 
I am very private person, I am now focusing all my passion on my career,
but yet keeping my private life to myself.
